The listed rental rates are current as of June 2015, and are subject to change. Rates include all utilities (heat, air conditioning, water, electricity up to $60/month, cable television, high-speed internet), parking, maid service, and all taxes.

Specific dates:

Guests can rent for any specific dates. Rent is prorated to the exact move in and out dates. You can also rent on a weekly (required 7 day notice to
terminate) and monthly (required 30 day notice to terminate) basis.

Check In and Check Out Times:

 

Check-in after 2.00 p.m.

Check-out until 11.00 a.m.

Guests may check-in on the first day of your rental agreement after 2 p.m.
All guests must provide a valid major credit card and photo ID upon time of check-in or rental agreement will be voided. All first-time guests must check-in during regular office hours, or schedule an “after-hours” check-in for an additional $50 fee. “After-hours” check-in can be scheduled for anytime of day, with advance notice. Guests must check out by 11 a.m. on the last day of your rental agreement.

Surrounding Area:

Countryside Apartments is located in the near west side of Madison.
Downtown Madison is less than a ten minute drive, with the travel time to the University of Wisconsin campus approximately the same. The Downtown area features a wide array of available activities including fine dining, music & entertainment, eclectic restaurants, art galleries, theatre, and the newly built convention center.

The two major shopping centers, West Towne Mall and East Towne Mall, are each a 10 minute drive away by major highway. In addition, we are also
located within ten minutes of the city’s major hosptials and clinics, which are nationally recognized for their leading health care services.

High Season:

June 1 to September 30 is our high season, so immediate occupany is not always available. During this time, please make efforts to reserve apartments no later than 30 days in advance. From November 1 to February 29 (Off Season), apartments are usually available for immediate occupancy.

Deposit & canceling:

No security deposit is required. At the time of reservation, guest pays $200, which is applied toward your rent. If reservation is canceled 30 days or more prior to the scheduled move in date, you will receive a full refund. You can cancel less than 30 days prior to your scheduled move in date, by forfeiting the reservation payment.

Smoking:

Smoking is prohibited in all apartments, buildings, and common areas. Guests may smoke on their decks and balconies. Guests found to be
smoking in their apartment are subject to $300 fine.

Pets:

We accept some pets in limited numbers of pet designated apartments, however guests must notify us about pets at time of reservation. Approved pets are charged $25/week, or $50/month, per pet. We also require a
deposit of $300 per pet, refundable upon check-out.

Handicap Access Apartments:

Some of our apartments can be accessed via a ramp from the parking lot with no stairs, and handicap parking is provided. Please notify us if you need an apartment that is handicapped accessible.

1. Where is Countryside Corporate Apartments located?

Countryside is located centrally in Madison, WI, just a short-drive to both the downtown and westside neighborhoods, easily accessible off the Beltline highway via the Todd Drive exit. Nestled within a private 7 acre wooded campus, we are neighbors with the nearby UW Arboretum, Arbor Hills community, and various corporate office parks.

2. What types of apartments does Countryside offer?

Countryside offers fully-furnished one, two, and three bedrooms unit along with dual-level corporate suites.

3.What is included with my furnished apartment?

The following are included in each apartment:• Fully furnished living room, dining room, and bedrooms• Housewares (all kitchen and dining items, towels, linens)• Full-sized kitchen appliances• Flat-screen televisions, HD cable, and DVD player• High-speed internet• Weekly maid service• All utilities

4. Who can rent an apartment from Countryside Corporate apartments?

Typical guests include business professionals, travelling nurses, long-term visitors to the area, companies needing housing for employees, visiting professors, medical patients, international travelers, and families relocating or renovating their home. Countryside welcomes all guests in search of short or long-term furnished housing.

5. What are the terms for renting an apartment?

Countryside rental lengths are the most flexible in the industry. Guests may rent weekly, monthly, or for exact dates. Reservations can begin on any day of the month, availability permitting.Monthly rentals require a thirty-day written notice while weekly rentals require a seven-day notice to vacate. These notices can be given on any day of the term. Specific term runs to the agreed end date.

6. Can my company rent an apartment for its employees?

Countryside has worked with many corporations in the past, both local and national, to fulfill the housing needs for their employees. Group rentals, invoicing, and corporate payment options are available.

7. What is the minimum length of stay?

Countryside offers rentals for one week or longer. The average guest stay usually ranges from three weeks to three months, but there is no limit to the length of stay.

8. What if I don't know how long I will need to stay?

Countryside will work with your schedule to ensure your stay as easy as possible. For example, many guests will rent for one month initially before switching a week-to-week agreement at the end of that month to give the very most flexibility possible. Countryside is committing to helping you find the best possible scheduling and booking options for your unique needs.

9. What is the process for renting an apartment?

Please call our rental office at (608) 271-0101 or complete the online check availability form at www.countrysidemadison.com/reservation/Once your desired dates and apartment availability are confirmed, we will be send a pre-filled digital rental agreement tailored to your reservation. Upon signing, you will be prompted to pay the $200 reservation deposit to complete the reservation. Signature and payment are needed to execute the rental agreement. The $200 reservation deposit is applied towards your initial balance, with the remainder due upon check-in. Once the agreement is signed and paid, you will receive a reservation confirmation by email.

10. What payment methods are accepted for rent?

Countryside Corporate Apartments requires the initial rental term to be paid for with a major credit card (VISA, MasterCard, AMEX, Discover). Subsequent payments can be automatically charged to the card on file. Debit cards, checks, and cash are also accepted after the initial payment.

11. Are there any taxes?

All stays longer than a month are not taxed. All stays less than a month are charged a sales tax of 5.5%.

12. Can I view an apartment in-person before I make a reservation?

Visitors are welcome to stop by our leasing office during normal business hours to view one of our apartments. We recommend calling ahead to confirm that an apartment is available to show on the day of your desired visit.

13. How early in advance should I book?

Countryside accepts reservations up to one year ahead of time. Last-minute inquiries are accommodated if availability permits, but we typically recommend reserving at least 30 days prior to the start date. To ensure availability during the summer months, we recommend reserving at least 60 days prior to the start date.

14. What is the check-in policy?

Check-in begins after 2:00 pm CST on the first day of your rental agreement. When checking-in during normal office hours, please proceed to the rental office located in the lower level of the 2801 Coventry Trail building. Early and after-hours check-ins are possible if availability permits.

15. What if I need to check-in after hours?

Please contact the office at least 72 hours before the start of your reservation to request these arrangements.

16. What is the check-out policy?

Check-out is at 11:00 am CST on the final day of your rental agreement. Guests are not required to visit the rental office to check-out. Please ensure that you have taken all personal belongings with you and lock your apartment door upon leaving.

17. What is the cancellation policy?

Guests have 30 days before the start of the agreement to change or cancel the agreement without penalty. If a guest cancels within that 30-day window, the $200 reservation deposit that was paid upon completion of the rental agreement is forfeited.

18. Are pets allowed?

Certain breeds of dogs and cats are allowed within pet-designated units. Pets are prohibited in non-pet apartments.All pets require a refundable $300 pet deposit upon check-in, along with a non-refundable $25 weekly or $50 monthly pet fee.

19. What is the smoking policy within the apartments?

All apartments are non-smoking. Any damage related to smoking within apartments will be charged to the primary renter after check-out.

20. Does Countryside offer unfurnished apartments?

Countryside is proud to be the only major property in the Madison, WI area to exclusively offer fully-furnished short-term apartments.

21. Are utilities included with rent?

Cable, high-speed internet, heat, and water all come included with the rent. Guests are allotted $60 per month towards electricity, with any overage being the responsibility of the guest. It is extremely rare for any guest to exceed this overage amount.

22. What additional amenities are offered by Countryside?

24. Does parking come included?

Yes, parking comes included with your rental. Parking is outdoor, with an independent parking lot for each one of our two buildings. A parking permit is not required.

25. Can I get around without a car?

Countryside Corporate Apartments are located next to multiple bus lines, and our central location makes all of Madison accessible. In addition, travelling to and from our property via Uber has also become an increasingly popular option.
